2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Password (stored securely via Supabase Auth — we never see or store plaintext passwords)
  • Plan type and billing interval

2.2 Newsletter & Email Subscriptions

When you subscribe to our newsletter or mailing list, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name (optional)
  • Subscription source (e.g., homepage, footer)

2.3 QR Code Scan & Analytics Data

When someone scans a QR code created on Leadible, we automatically collect:

  • IP address (used for geolocation, then discarded from logs)
  • Approximate geographic location (country, city, region)
  • Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
  • Browser and operating system
  • Referring URL
  • Timestamp of the scan
  • UTM campaign parameters (if present in the destination URL)

We use automated bot detection to filter non-human traffic from analytics.

2.4 Business Card Click Tracking

When someone interacts with a digital business card, we collect similar analytics data (device, browser, location, timestamp) to provide card owners with engagement insights.

2.5 Lead Capture Data

When a visitor fills out a lead magnet form or contact exchange on a QR code or business card, we collect the information they voluntarily provide (e.g., name, email, phone, company). This data is stored in the QR code or card owner's lead dashboard.

2.6 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full payment details on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of payment status, subscription plan, and billing cycle from Stripe.

2.7 Cookies & Local Storage

We use:

  • Authentication cookies — managed by Supabase to keep you logged in
  • Local storage — to remember your cookie consent preference and UI settings
  • Retargeting pixels (Business plan only) — Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics tags may be loaded when configured by the QR code owner

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Leadible service
  • Process account registration and manage your subscription
  • Deliver analytics and scan tracking to QR code and business card owners
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets)
  • Send marketing emails (newsletters, product updates) — only with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and bot traffic
  • Improve our service and develop new features

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Supabase — Database hosting, authentication, and row-level security

Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management

Resend — Transactional and marketing email delivery

Vercel — Application hosting and CDN

Facebook / Meta Pixel — Retargeting (only when configured by Business plan users on their QR codes)

Google Analytics / GTM — Retargeting (only when configured by Business plan users on their QR codes)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing data processing. We encourage you to review their policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Specifically:

  • Account data — retained until you delete your account
  • Scan analytics — retained for the lifetime of the associated QR code
  • Newsletter subscriptions — retained until you unsubscribe
  • Lead capture data — retained until the QR code or card owner deletes it

When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data

Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data

Portability — Request your data in a portable format

Objection — Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes

Withdraw consent — Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

  • Row-Level Security (RLS) in our database ensuring users can only access their own data

  • Secure authentication via Supabase Auth with hashed passwords
  • PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe

8. Children's Privacy

Leadible is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

Our services are hosted in the United States. If you access Leadible from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.
